Whakanuia te kaiako, treasure the teacher, was a hosted event as part of Ahurei Ākonga Festival of Adult Learning. Organised by Ako Aotearoa, Sector Services Manager, Southern Hub, Jennifer Leahy in conjunction with the Ōtautahi Community of Practice in Christchurch and Festival Planning Team: Victoria Ross, Amelia Davis, and Lottie Vinson.
This film was released this week as a tribute to local community educators who are passionate about their roles in working with adult learners. With many attributes demonstrating alignment with the ACE Teaching Standards.
