Together with Share Kai we hosted a series of community dinners where we gathered in the Risingholme's hall to connect with others over tasty food and share in the cultures and cuisines of communities that call Ōtautahi home. Presented in partnership with InCommon who run Share Kai and Kōrero.

We invited visitors to step back in time with a guided tour of our 160 year-old homestead and post-war modernist hall. These tours were delivered as part of the Open Christchurch 2024 programme.

This was a regular monthly event where anyone could drop for a chat, some kai and get to know what’s on offer at Risingholme Learning.

This event encouraged members of the public to have a go at adult and community education through free taster sessions of some of Risingholme's popular courses.

Featuring the works of over 50 artists and makers from a range of courses, Rise Up: Celebrating 80 Years of Creativity at Risingholme immersed visitors in the creative worlds of our talented tutors and learners through a special multi-disciplinary exhibition. Visitors could support artists by purchasing their work.

Together with Council's Parks team we delivered free house and garden tours where visitors could learn more about the history of recreation and leisure at Risingholme.
