Privacy and the use of Personal Information

Risingholme values its learners and respects their privacy.  The personal information Risingholme Community Centre Incorporated will collect, use, store and disclose about you via our enrolment form (paper or online), emails and feedback is for the purpose of conducting its normal and proper business in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, Education and Training Act 2020 and any other relevant legislation.

Risingholme supplies data collected on the enrolment form to government agencies, including:

  • Ministry of Education
  • The Tertiary Education Commission
  • Ministry of Health

Those agencies use the data collected from Risingholme Community Centre Incorporated to administer the tertiary education system, including allocating funding or in case of a pandemic.

Your personal details (name, date of birth and residency status) as entered on the enrolment form, if required, may be included in the National Student Index.

All personal information is held securely in our systems in accordance with Risingholme’s Policies and Procedures and the Privacy Act 2020.  You may view any information held about you and amend any errors in that information.  To do so, contact Risingholme’s Privacy Officer.
