Donna Mahuta

Donna has studied and worked in the fashion industry for many years moving into tertiary education eleven years ago. Starting as a patternmaking tutor she worked her way up to Programme Coordinator/Leader within the fashion department. Donna has a post graduate diploma in Tertiary Education and a Diploma of Fashion Design & Technology Level 7.

While patternmaking is her core skill, passion, and strength, she has also taught the academic subjects of textiles and design development. She has been delivering patternmaking lessons and workshops in the community for about two years and enjoys helping people to create their own personalised designs and garments. The fun, relaxed and informative atmosphere is very rewarding. Donna is a mum of three adult children and many moko (yes, double digits).
