Learn simple fabric painting techniques and apply these to a selection of kitchen linen products. Beautiful old fashioned bottles are printed on tea-towels, table runners, wall hangings and napkins. A mindful painting class of colour, experimentation, and creativity. Enjoy adding your own colours and style to pre-printed linen items and turn them into one off artwork you can display in your home. No artistic talents or prior painted experience required, all techniques are easy to learn and it’s about giving it a go and having some creative fun in a friendly studio environment.
Students will make 1 tea-towel, 1 table runner, 2 napkins, 1 wall hanging artwork and a selection of fabric test pieces.
All equipment, materials, inks, and fabric are supplied to you at this workshop, at an extra cost of $50 (please bring this for the tutor).
