The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing 'tangles' (structured patterns). Discover your inner artist in this set of sessions set up to practice Zentangle.
Almost anyone can use it to create beautiful images. It increases focus, creativity and provides artistic satisfaction along with an increased sense of personal well-being. You will be introduced to the steps, strings, tangles, shading and ideas for 50+ designs on both white and black tiles (paper).
The Zentangle Method is enjoyed all over the world, across a wide range of skills, interests and ages. Ildica has learnt direct from its creators Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. At its heart, Zentangle art is all about being in the moment and mindful - focussing in, not zoning out; paying attention to the current as you get into the rhythm and a flow, it pushes away worries and distractions. The drawings unfold in an unplanned, yet structured way.
You will leave with a clear understanding that “Anything is possible one stroke at a time”®.
There is an additional material cost of $25, in cash, to the tutor in the class - this covers all the materials you will need for the term and will give you starting materials to carry on afterwards – if you want to build your Zentangle practice beyond the class.
