Michele McConnochie

Michele McConnochie is a Welsh children’s author and creative writing teacher. She grew up in the air force but has been settled in Christchurch since 2003. Two of her middle-grade books were published in the US, and she has indie-published almost a dozen books by her students. She worked as a freelance features writer in Christchurch with over 300 articles to her name.  She has worked in education for thirty years and is currently an academic manager at Ara Institute of Canterbury as well as pursuing her writing adventure.
