This class is designed for those who have physical and/or intellectual disabilities attending with or without a support person.
You will be introduced to the main making and decorating methods of ceramics by working through some set projects. You will receive a good basic technical grounding in ceramic practices, with the opportunity to use your own design inspirations with the tools and materials provided.
The projects will vary each term, so that over the year, students will be able to try out many different making and decorating techniques.
No previous pottery experience is needed. This will be all hand building no wheel work involved.
To help keep the cost of this course down we receive Government Funding who require proof of residency/citizenship status. When you enrol you may be asked to provide a CERTIFIED copy of your Identity Documentation – click here for a full list of accepted IDocs.
