Our programme consists of day and evening courses at three locations across the city. Typically, our courses are 16 hours per term that run over 8 weeks (2 hours per week).
This is a unique opportunity where you will be working with groups of adults to improve their knowledge of Tikanga Māori, learn and use Te Reo Māori. So, if you are fluent in Te Reo Māori, have an understanding and awareness of Tikanga Māori and have an innovative approach to Adult Learning.
We are seeking a tutor who has a background in carpentry or teaching hard materials technology (woodwork) who would be interested in tutoring our WoodWork Accessible course. This course is designed for learners who have physical and/or intellectual disabilities.
If you are interested and have a passion for sharing your expertise and knowledge we would love to hear from you. Experience in teaching adults would be ideal but not essential as support is available.
