You may have made a start on learning some of the fundamental skills fo writing fiction; this course develops those skills and will result in you publishing a short story or an extract from a longer piece in an e-book anthology. This is a follow on from the Creative Writing course or for anybody who may have attended a basic creative writing course as previous experience or knowledge is very helpful.

Michele Clark McConnochie is a freelance writer of over 300 features, 2 ghost-written young adult novels and a trilogy of children’s books, the first of which will be published in the USA early 2018. She also has over 25 years’ experience in education.

No classes on public holidays.
All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Please check your emails regularly. Courses are usually confirmed or cancelled 2-3 working days prior to the scheduled start date.
We may, regretfully, have to cancel courses if we do not receive enough enrolments, in which case you will get a full refund.
We may choose to close a course if there is a high level of non-attendance or withdrawals, in which case a proportional refund may be made.
Wherever possible, we will offer replacement or extended sessions to make up for sessions cancelled/postponed/suspended due to extreme weather, tutor illness or other unforeseen reason.
If you need to withdraw from a course and you inform us in writing, at least a week before the course is due to start, you will be eligible for a refund minus a $20 administration charge.
If you withdraw from a course at any other time, you will not be eligible for a refund. No refunds are given after commencement of a course to ensure course viability.
