Learn to make simple, nutritious meals at home. In addition to cooking basic recipes, learners will also learn food hygiene and kitchen management skills, putting them into practice each week.
Learners will supply their own ingredients as per lists provided each week at a cost of approx. $10 – $20 per learner per week subject to current food prices.
- No previous cooking experience needed.
- Learners will be required to bring ingredients on the first night.
- Learners will need to bring their own ingredients required for the dishes. Cost approximately $10 – $20 per night but that may vary from week to week and will depend on current supermarket prices and dishes to be prepared.
- Learners to supply their own ingredients (some pantry staples will be provided, and learners are welcome to work in pairs to save costs), tea towels, dish cloths and hand towels.
