Pottery Throwing Intermediate Workshop

This is an Intermediate Throwing Workshop on learning how to design and throw a tea or coffee set consisting of 2 mugs or cups, one side plate, one jug, one sugar bowl, one tea or coffee pot. It is suggested that you start drawing some designs in your notebook before starting the workshop. You can research coffee and tea pots online, in books and at the library etc. You will extend your self by learning how to throw lids, spouts and building a gallery in a vessel for a lid. You will then apply handles, decorate, and embellish your set.

Clay, Glazes and Firings costs are included in the course fee. The course fee includes costs of materials (clay, slip, glaze, and firing) for items made per the course curriculum (maximums apply).

This course is over 3 days, Saturday and Sunday of same weekend (10 am – 4 pm ) and then Sunday (4 – 6 pm) two weeks later.
