Drawing & Sketching with Colour - Risingholme

Drawing & Sketching with Colour - Risingholme

This course will offer you easy ways to learn to see, in order to record the world around you.  Each term has a different focus.
We will cover all the basic art principles (which apply to any subject).  Learning to express yourself intuitively is of equal importance and many people already doodle, creating original works without being aware of it!  Simple materials like pen, pencil and paper are all that’s needed to get started; however a few extra materials will give you more options.

Due to popular demand Term 1 will be looking at the Master’s and from this exploring your style and genre. This may be portrait, the body, landscape, or still life.

IMPORTANT information:

 No classes on public holidays.

All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Please check your emails regularly. Courses are usually confirmed or cancelled 2-3 working days prior to the scheduled start date.

NB: Only a paid enrolment secures a place in a class.

In most cases classes will be taught by the tutor named in the brochure/website on the dates stated. We make every effort to make our programme as accurate as possible at the time of printing. We do, however, reserve the right to make any changes that may be necessary. This includes changes to day, time, venue and tutor.

Cancellation by us

We may, regretfully, have to cancel courses if we do not receive enough enrolments, in which case you will get a full refund.
We may choose to close a course if there is a high level of non-attendance or withdrawals, in which case a proportional refund may be made.

Cancellation due to extreme weather or Tutor illness

Wherever possible, we will offer replacement or extended sessions to make up for sessions cancelled due to extreme weather, tutor illness or other unforeseen reason.

Cancellation by the learner

If you need to withdraw from a course and you inform us in writing, at least a week before the course is due to start, you will be eligible for a refund minus a $20 administration charge.
