In this short course freshen up your Russian language and improve your vocabulary and communication skills.
What can I expect to learn? You will increase your vocabulary and extend basic grammar for day-to-day communication.
Proposed course outline:
Session 1: Talking about clothes
Session 2: Your daily routine
Session 3: Connecting sentences
Session 4: Talking about food.
What do I need to know before my course starts? Some prior knowledge of basic Russian grammar is necessary.
What do I need to have? A device that can be used to participate in a Zoom meeting. Pen/pencil, paper/notebook to take notes.
What will be provided? The tutor will email the Zoom invite link with meeting ID and password plus any files needed prior to eachsession starting, please review these.
How will each Zoom session run? This short course will run for 6 hours total which will be made up of 1 x 90 min Zoom session each week. The weekly sessions are broken up into 2 x 40 mins sessions with a 5-10 min break between.
The aim of this short course is to create a safe space for learners while you increase your knowledge of the Russian language.

What you need to know about Zoom:
This session will be run through Zoom.
Do I need my own Zoom account? NO, you do not need to have your own Zoom account to participate, an invite with a link, meeting ID and password will be emailed to you, by the tutor, at least 2 hours before each session is due to start.
Please check your inbox and spam folders for this email and click on the link at least 30min prior to your session starting to make sure you can follow the process to 'JOIN A MEETING' and are ready to go on time to avoid missing out on the start of your first session.

No classes on public holidays.
All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Please check your emails regularly. Courses are usually confirmed or cancelled 2-3 working days prior to the scheduled start date.
We may, regretfully, have to cancel courses if we do not receive enough enrolments, in which case you will get a full refund.
We may choose to close a course if there is a high level of non-attendance or withdrawals, in which case a proportional refund may be made.
Wherever possible, we will offer replacement or extended sessions to make up for sessions cancelled due to extreme weather, tutor illness or other unforeseen reason.
If you need to withdraw from a course and you inform us in writing, at least a week before the course is due to start, you will be eligible for a refund minus a $20 administration charge.
If you withdraw from a course at any other time, you will not be eligible for a refund. No refunds are given after commencement of a course to ensure course viability.
