During this Taster you will get a great introduction to Meditation for the light hearted and mobiltiy is not an issue. A special time and place for you to put aside so that you can learn proven techniques to reduce stress and anxieties, to kick start creativity and motivation by becoming more centred and self aware. This is an opportunity to learn various guided meditational techniques to chase the 'monkey mind' as well as to connect with like minded people.
What can I expect to learn? Learn about yourself, what Meditations work for you and what doesn't. Proven Meditation styles and techniques on how to recognise stress in your body and mind and not forgetting proven breathing techniques. I am a Yoga teacher so I will often incorporate certain yoga techniques to support these process. The restorative/gentle Asan (pose) can support the more anxious learners learn to let go and become more present in self and mind. For those with limited ablitly a chair is fine.
What do I need to know before I start? This is a light hearted approach to Meditation it is for the novice or for those who have struggled with Meditation in the past or just want to get back into Meditation. Having a go and trying different techniques and exploring what works for you and what doesn't. There will be a small amount of gentle yoga poses however this is not important so if you have limited mobility that is not an issue the focus is on Meditation so please if you are not mobile or are very limited a chair is fine, the essential goal is the Mediation and breathing.
What do I need to have? A device that can be used to participate in a Zoom meeting. Wear comfortable clothing. A comfortable private space big enough to enable yourself to move freely. A place to position your device so that you can see Jennifer. Pillows, blankets/towels and chair.
What will be provided? The tutor will email the Zoom invite link with meeting ID and password plus any handouts needed prior to the session starting, please review these.
How will the Zoom session run? This taster will run for 60 mins total which will be made up of 2 x 30 min Zoom sessions with a 5-10 min break between each.
The aim of this Taster is to create a safe space for learners to try something new. This is for beginners however you are welcome to join this taster to refresh any prior knowledge.

What you need to know about Zoom:
This session will be run through Zoom.
Do I need my own Zoom account? NO, you do not need to have your own Zoom account to participate, an invite with a link, meeting ID and password will be emailed to you, by the tutor, at least 2 hours before your session will start.
Please check your inbox and spam folders for this email and click on the link at least 30min prior to your session starting to make sure you can follow the process to 'JOIN A MEETING' and are ready to go on time to avoid missing out on the start of your session.

No classes on public holidays.
All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Please check your emails regularly. Courses are usually confirmed or cancelled 2-3 working days prior to the scheduled start date.
We may, regretfully, have to cancel courses if we do not receive enough enrolments, in which case you will get a full refund.
We may choose to close a course if there is a high level of non-attendance or withdrawals, in which case a proportional refund may be made.
Wherever possible, we will offer replacement or extended sessions to make up for sessions cancelled due to extreme weather, tutor illness or other unforeseen reason.
If you need to withdraw from a course and you inform us in writing, at least a week before the course is due to start, you will be eligible for a refund minus a $20 administration charge.
If you withdraw from a course at any other time, you will not be eligible for a refund. No refunds are given after commencement of a course to ensure course viability.
