Let’s take a trip to Germany. Gute Reise!
What better time to learn a little about Germany, it’s people and some basic German. As travel to Germany is restricted at the moment we will explore different scenarios online where we learn to use relevant basic German phrases and sentences. From greetings, colours, numbers and currency to ordering food and drinks and also becoming familiar with saying things we like or dislike and telling others about our families. Essentially this is a conversation class in bite-sized pieces. German etiquette and some facts about Germany are also covered. This course is also suitable for people dealing with German speaking visitors.
What can I expect to learn? Every class covers different topics a traveller to Germany might require. I encourage my learners to read and write German and this will be incorporated into the course. Revision happens at the beginning of every class to reinforce what was learned.
Proposed course outline: Note: This is only a general guide, coverage depends on what arises once online teaching commences.
