Te Reo Māori Whānau Time

Te Reo Māori Whānau Time

This course is for parents/caregivers to participate in with their tamariki/children (best suited for over 3 years olds)

This introductory course is child friendly enabling the parent or caregiver to attend with their child/ren where you can both begin to learn Te Reo Māori together.

Offering an introduction to Māori language and cultural practices and where they originated.  There is a strong focus on speaking, understanding spoken Te Reo Māori and appropriate uses for certain occasions.

There are limited spaces available and once you have enrolled yourself, we will email to check how many children will be attending with you (you do not need to enrol the child/ren attending).

To help keep the cost of this course down we receive Government Funding and they require proof of residency/citizenship status.  When you enrol you may be asked to provide a CERTIFIED copy of your Identity Documentation – click here for a full list of accepted IDocs.

Please check your emails regularly. Courses are usually confirmed or cancelled 2-3 working days prior to the scheduled start date.

NB: Only a paid enrolment secures a place in a class.

In most cases classes will be taught by the tutor named in the brochure/website on the dates stated. We make every effort to make our programme as accurate as possible at the time of printing. We do, however, reserve the right to make any changes that may be necessary. This includes changes to day, time, venue and tutor.
