Russian Level 1
Level 1 (Beginners)
Learning to speak a new language – building a simple vocabulary, introduction to basic rules of grammar and coming to grips with pronunciation. Learn to listen and speak in a new way. For beginners who have absolutely no prior knowledge of the language.
This course is for absolute beginners. It gives students with no prior of Russian a firm basis in the language and provides background information on aspects of Russian life. It aims to develop listening, writing, reading and speaking skills with topics range from greetings and introducing yourself to talking about your family and town. Bring a notebook and pen to the first class. The longer course course will stretch over two terms with no classes during the school holidays.

Term 3 Tuesday 24 July 2012
Time 7 – 9 pm
Fee $145 for Terms 1 and 3 (16 weeks/32 hours) and $105 for Term 2.
