How to plan an interview, choose recording equipment, achieve clear audio recordings, select informants, develop questionnaires and questioning techniques. Bring recording equipment if you have it. A course for anyone who has commenced or completed an oral history interview, focusing on how to abstract and complete the interview file. May also include: getting the best out of your recording equipment, discussion on interview techniques, successes and challenges to date. Bring own lunch.

Faced with the twin challenges of climate change and rising oil prices, our city lifestyle will need to adapt, and fast. If denial is not your style, and you'd enjoy getting together with others in the community to better understand what is happening, practice new skills and play your part as parents and citizens, come to join this (afternoon) study group. For the term 1 course, optional shared lunch to start the sessions at noon.
