In most cases classes will be taught by the tutor named in the brochure/website on the dates stated. We make every effort to make our programme as accurate as possible at the time of printing. We do, however, reserve the right to make any changes that may be necessary.
In all of our cooking classes (unless specified otherwise), the tutor demonstrates the first night and will then discuss what ingredients students need to bring weekly. Students to supply own tea towels.

We'll bake bikkies, brownies, cakes, meringues, scones, muffins, slices and bars and last, but not least, some no-fuss bread. Fill your bikkie and cake tins with home-baked goods and bask in the praise of everyone who gets a taste.

Learn how to decorate a cake for a special occasion .The course will help you cover a cake in Sugar Paste (roll out icing) and decorate it. Students will be taught how to cover a cake. Decorate a cake with sugar flowers, brush embroidery marzipan fingers and lots more. Make Royal icing; Paper icing bags. How to pipe shells and write in icing on a cake. We will work on dummy cakes, and cake boards at times as well as a Fruit cake and a sponge cake. Material costs approx $25

In this course, you will also learn to prepare some baked goods without butter and eggs, how to read food labels and which animals hide behind some of those ominous numbers. Bring small containers to take home leftovers.
