Jewish Cooking

Welcome to the world of authentic Jewish cuisine.  If you are interested, come and try some of the amazing recipes that have evolved over thousands of years and from the many different cultures that have influenced Jewish cooking.  Jewish cuisine combines the tradition of the ancient religion with the modern gracefully -combining Mediterranean and Levantine influences with the skills and styles of today.

Learn how to make potato latkes, paloman zimes, soofganiyot (Hanukkah doughnuts), Hala bread for Shabbat, chicken soup and kugel.

Approximate weekly cost of ingredients $25 but this may vary depending on food prices and type of recipe.  Students to supply own tea towels, dish cloths and hand towels.
