Yoga Beginners

Gain a new healthy look as your posture improves, discover an antidote to stress and have more energy than before. Suitable for adults and teenagers 13+.

Students need to be able to comfortably get up and down from the floor for a Yoga class.  No medical condition without medical approval.  Bring own mat and wear comfortable clothing.  We advise an empty stomach at least two hours prior to your class.

About your tutor:
My journey to Hatha Yoga began in India in 1968 at the age of 9.  Yoga is like a vast ocean of in-depth Science and philosophy of our body.  It involves disciplining not only the body but also the mind and the will.  Yoga is described as a smart way of living in today’s world.

I have been creating a professional teaching environment over the past 29 years for healthy living.  Each class is designed to help and improve ideas of how yoga can assist people in various ways. 

I offer a wide range of courses and it includes Arka Dhyana-Meditation, Therapy Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Mum + Baby, Yoga for Children, Beginner Yoga, Improver Yoga, Open class Yoga, and new in 2013 Ball Yoga.

I have been involved with running yoga with various institutions over this time, including evening classes since 1992 at Shirley Boys’ High School.  I have noticed in my teaching that we are more and more aware of the search for good health and my teaching reflects that.
