Refund Policy
1. If a class does not commence due to insufficient enrolments, fees will be refunded fully.
2. A refund less $20 administration fee will be given if a student withdraws within one week prior to course commencement.
3. As many of our courses are run on a self-funded basis, it means that your enrolment may have helped to get a
course started. Therefore NO refunds given on the day of course commencement and after course commencement.

ESOL courses, Te Reo Maori and Sign Language are subsidised by the Government.
ESOL is English language provision for anyone who has come to New Zealand to settle and live permanently, who speaks a language or languages other than English.
In these courses you will learn the language you need to live and work in New Zealand, to communicate and gain skills for work and further study.
GENERAL ESOL COURSES
Courses are offered at the following levels:
Level 1 (Beginners)
Those with little or no English.
Level 2 (Elementary)
Those who can understand and use simple English in everyday situations.
Level 3 (Intermediate)
Those who can usually understand native speakers and can make themselves understood in familiar situations.

IELTS FOCUS: reading and writing. This course focuses on two complementary skills and does not cover speaking or listening. Familiarisation with IELTS topics and useful vocabulary; guided reading and writing practice using effective methods useful for Task One and Task Two. An introduction to Maori Language and customs. A look at Maori values and beliefs with Maori music. This course has a strong focus on speaking and understanding spoken Te Reo Maori. It is aimed at providing beginners with knowledge of basic greetings to more complex sentences. The class will also provide an opportunity for the more advanced to support the beginners and practice and increase their skill in speaking, listening and understanding. Waiata (songs), tikanga (culture), karakia (prayers) and mihi (introductions) will be covered together with oral/aural and reading/writing skills.
