Introduction
Create your own family or small business website. Using HTML you will require only notepad and your browser to create your website. The course also includes an introduction to CSS and JavaScript as well as how to upload your site onto the web and submit to search engines. Should be comfortable using the internet and saving files. No other previous knowledge assumed.

Create a Simple Website
Create your own family or small business website. Using HTML, you will require only notepad and a browser to create your website. The course also includes an introduction to CSS and JavaScript as well as how to upload your site onto the web and submit to search engines. You should be comfortable using the internet and saving files but no other previous knowledge assumed.
Over two weekends, you will be taught the basics of making a website and then you will make and upload your website. At the end of the course, you should have your website published online. Course costs include cost for the domain name and a year of hosting. Bring own lunch.
Term 1 Saturday & Sunday 12 & 13 May and 19 & 20 May 2012.

Wendy first made a website in an attempt to win a bet in 1999 and has been teaching others to make their own since then. She spends too much time involved in all aspects of computers and enjoys passing on her knowledge to others.
